It wasn't so long ago that I was struggling to find a way out of my JOB. I tried more business opportunities than I care to remember. I started to lose faith that I would ever succeed in this industry but something kept telling me that there had to be a better way. Even though I was very successful in my career as a Regional Manager in the finance field something was missing. There had to be more to life than getting up each morning, bringing my kids to daycare, working 8 - 10 hours, picking up the kids, cooking dinner, going to bed and starting all over again. What was missing for me was a feeling of helping others and making a difference in this world, having time to spend with my husband and two daughters and not having to worry about money. My husband and I both made good money but we wanted a better lifestyle. When I say better lifestyle I don't mean more material things. To me it means less stress, being able to make my own hours, providing a life for my family that is abundant in so many ways and taking family vacations whenever we wanted to.
So I became a Certified Life Coach and quickly found out how tough it was to build a business because a lot of people don't really understand what coaching is. That's when I started looking for a unique home based business. I found a lot of opportunities out there but none of them seemed right. They either were to pushy and sales driven or didn't seem ethical or in alignment with my values. Then I found what I thought I was looking for and joined. I'll be honest and tell you that I completely failed with that company. I loved the freedom that it gave me and I learned a lot about what not to do to be successful. I was skeptical bit I learned that 95% of the opportunities out there ARE legit but they have gotten a bad reputaion because people join under Sponsors who don't train them and then they fail.
The business opportunity that I found and am now with has a community of like minded who all want to help others. The products are some of the best personal development programs I have ever seen and as a Life Coach and personal development junkie that's saying something. It has all of the tools that I need to succeed. There is no pressure to sell and they believe in helping people make an educated and relaxed decision about whether this unique home based business opportunity is for them or not. As a matter of fact we frown on sales pressure. Joining this opportunity is the best thing that I ever did. It is a real business with real products and is so fulfilling. It is amazing to be able to have the life that I always knew I could have. My kids don't go to daycare anymore. I make my own hours. My husband and I take amazing vacations each year, 2 with the kids and 1 or 2 without the kids. Money is no longer an issue. We have a beautiful home in Connecticut. I have met so many people who have the same interests as I do and together we are making a difference. Now that's what I call life changing.
