The secret is that you really have to be in a place where you want to help others solve their problems. If you approach others in this way then you can't fail.

When I talk to a potential partner I never try to sell them or convince them of anything. I don't want anyone on my team who has to be convinced that this business is the answer to a better life. If you have to sell someone then they will not stay anyway because they aren't joining for the right reasons. They need to start for their reasons not yours.
